COVID-19 [Corona Virus] and Business

Have you guys ever thought that a time would come when this handshake would be regarded nearly as a bad or unwanted habit? Eventhough it remained as the famous form of jesture and as one of the very first things parents teach their kids, it is now seriously regarded as a sort of crime (or even more than that) due to this deadly virus, COVID-19.

Where it has changed our social greetings, it had serious impact on our business environment. It has completely changed the way the meetings started and ended.

I'll try to enlist every single way the business environment is changed during this pandemic;
  1. "Elbow bump" is getting fame day by day to carry on the safest form of warm interactions and avoiding handshakes, whenever an agreement is made between individuals or corporations.
  2. Payments are on-hold for the last two months.
  3. The deviation towards online delivery and work is majorly seen.
  4. Zoom, Skype etc. have experienced a major influx of customers as physial meetings and interviews are prohibited.
  5. Unemployment has increased considerably. Following statistics show some data of major Asian economies;
  • South Korea; > than 4% points
  • Australia; > than 3% points
  • New Zealand; close to  3% points
  • Japan; > than 2% points
  • Thailand; < than 1% points
Here are some pictoral representations;

COVID-19 and Back to Home [Eid-ul-Fitr 2020, Pakistan] | SINS BALOCH Blogs

Many congratulations to all of you for the coming festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, although this would be an Eid with the circumstances of COVID-19. Divisions of Life Due to COVID-19 Past I remember that back then, there were unending lines and lines waiting to leave Islamabad during these days (before Eid) as most of them were going to their native homelands to meet their loved ones after a huge span of time. There used to be a big smile on their faces and delighted hearts. It looked like if they are gonna get paradise in this Earth today, whether they be hostelites, employers, state representatives, labourers or executives. Islamabad appeared deserted as if life never came there, at the time of Eid except few natives of Chira and surroundings.                                                                ...

Was this Eid-ul-Fitr under COVID-19, held w.r.t SOP's {PAK and Whole Muslim World}, SINS BALOCH Blogs

I hope you all had a great time with your dearest ones on this Eid under COVID-19 at home. May you see many upcoming Eids without the fear of catching COVID-19. Effects of EID under COVID-19 Although it was under COVID-19 restrictions so some of the people sensed the danger of catching coronavirus, and therefore kept themselves safe by locked down in their homes as much as possible. But what was seen is that most of the families just announced get-togethers a night before Eid (commonly known as Chand Raat). This leads to a major flow of tension as most of the people haven't bought their clothes for the 3 days celebration. An Example of Rawalpindi, Pakistan I saw that Chor Bazaar on Misrial road, RWP was just showing a glimpse of a fish market. People were just roaming around and shopping like COVID-19 has gone to make Eid far away. It looked like if the whole of Pindi/ Islamabad accumulated there for their so important shopping at this time of 2nd wave. Corona must be thinking wher...
